We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at our two-site small animal practice in Yeovil in Somerset and Sherborne in Dorset. About us

Kingston Veterinary Group serves a wide range of clients across Somerset and Dorset, including small animal, farm, and equine clients. Over the years, we’ve grown to include a small animal surgery in Yeovil and equine branches in Longburton and Buckhorn Weston.
We became part of IVC Evidensia in 2018, which has allowed us to enhance the resources available to continue providing exceptional care for our clients and their beloved animals.
We recently added a brand new well-equipped clinic in Sherbourne, which features a dedicated dental room, brand-new DR digital X-rays, ultrasound scanner, and an in-house lab for diagnostic testing to support your caseloads. We are keen to discuss your interests, and support you to build a caseload that aligns with your requirements.

About this role

At Kingston Vets, we truly value the work-life balance of our team. We can offer plenty of flexibility in this role, with the ideal schedule being a 4.5 day week, including 1:3 Saturday mornings, and absolutely no out-of-hours duties. We are happy to discuss part time hours, and look at a shift pattern to suit you.

Our clinical team includes two certificate holders, and we have a special focus on Laparoscopic spays. We hold regular team-building events, support local charities and community events, and are actively involved in our local farming community with regular meetings.
